Product features

Construction and performance

  • Used in a wide range of air purification and vapour phase applications for general odour removal, cooking odours, exhaust fumes, ammonia and its derivatives, formaldehyde and other airborne pollutants.
  • Long established bonding techniques hold the activated carbon in a rigid biscuit.
  • The biscuit is encapsulated in carbon impregnated cloth, which prevents any leakage of granules or powder.
  • Housed in a galvanised steel frame.
  • Loose fill or bonded carbon, depending on the odours to be removed.
  • Used on supply to purify incoming air, or on extract to remove toxic gases and odours from a process.
  • Depths of 12mm, 20mm, 45mm, 95mm and 150mm.
  • Filter class: 50% CTC.

Key benefits

  • Removes harsh odours and chemicals from the exhaust and maintains good indoor air quality on the supply.
  • A choice of bonded or loose fill carbon, matched to the odours to be removed and the level of filtration needed.

Typical applications

  • Kitchens and cooking odours
  • Exhaust fumes
  • Ammonia and its derivatives
  • Formaldehyde
